One good idea, every Sunday.
One good idea every Sunday from Rob Lambert, on communication, creativity, learning and careers. Free, with a library of field guides, books and a video masterclass when you join.
Meeting Notes · a free letter every Sunday
You probably don't need another newsletter. You probably need one good idea.
One idea a week on communication, creativity, learning and the career you're building. Short enough for a Sunday coffee, useful enough for Monday.
Free the moment you join: the members’ library
Oh. That's what's going on.
Most of us have something we're trying to move along. An idea at work. A talk. A side project. A career that's drifting a little. The thing you've been trying to explain for six months.
The answer usually isn't to work harder. It's to see it differently.
Once a week, I send one idea from my desk to yours: something I've noticed, tested, read, made, got wrong, or spent an astonishing amount of time thinking about. Read it on a Sunday over a pot of tea, and see your week a little differently on Monday.
What it's about
- Communicating so ideas land: in a meeting, a document, a talk or a conversation
- Creativity, and the conditions that let good thinking happen
- Learning, and growing a career you actually want
- Making things people care about
- Getting good ideas through the messy middle, without burning through your time, energy and attention
Sometimes practical, sometimes observational, sometimes a little funny. Always something you can take into the week.

Send you Meeting Notes, and the occasional note about something new. Nothing else, and it's never shared. See Legal and privacy.
Want to go further?
Studio is the paid membership. Every month you get a new edition of the Department of Interesting Things: one ordinary object, turned into a method you can use at work.
You also get essays written only for members, seminars, the full Practitioner’s Handbook and a direct line to me. The first two editions of The Department of Interesting Things are free to read, so you can see what it's like first. £5 a month or £50 a year.
