Field Guides · the seeing series
Practical books for the work in front of you.
A talk you’ve said yes to. An idea nobody’s backing yet. A team that needs you to be clearer. A day off you keep not taking. Each guide here takes one of those moments and helps you see what to do next, in the time you’ve actually got.
They come from twenty years of working across organisations, from journalism and engineering to HR and communication, and a growing fascination with how good ideas become valuable. I’ve seen what’s possible when people can see a clearer path forward, recognise the opportunities around them, and find practical ways to bring their ideas to life. Often, the next step is simpler than it first appears.

About Rob
I’m Rob Lambert. I’ve spent twenty years inside organisations – as a journalist, filmmaker, VP of Engineering, VP of HR and Head of Communication – studying how ideas become value, and where they stall. I’ve helped scale a business from barely making payroll to an exit, and taught hundreds of people to speak, teach and communicate. These field guides are what I’ve noticed along the way.
